The Ankle-Brachial Index (ABI) is a non-invasive screening that compares blood pressure at the ankle with blood pressure in the arm. It can help identify reduced blood flow to the legs and signs of peripheral arterial disease. Recommended with Lower Extremity Arterial Duplex: For a more complete assessment of lower-extremity circulation, ABI screening is recommended together with a Lower Extremity Arterial Duplex ultrasound.
