Thyroid Ultrasound for Research - FREE

Service Description

This research study is exploring a possible relationship between thyroid structure and varicose veins/chronic venous disease. Participants will undergo a complimentary thyroid ultrasound to document the appearance and structure of the thyroid gland and complete questionnaires about their thyroid and vascular history. The information collected will contribute to research examining whether thyroid structural findings are associated with venous disease. Participation is for research purposes and does not imply that thyroid abnormalities cause varicose veins or venous disease.
